A little about ourselves Mike Murdock started Murdock Homes Corporation with his wife Colette in 1986. His experience in residential, commercial, historic restoration and remodeling give him the depth and breath of construction knowledge necessary for today's informed home buyers. Mike was born in Statesville, North Carolina into a family of home builders . He is the third generation to follow in the profession. He graduated from the Citadel, the military College of South Carolina, in 1976. Commissioning as a 2nd Lieutenant in the US Army he served on active duty for 6 years as an artillery officer. In 1982 ended his active duty service as a captain in the 82nd Air born Division. Accepting a position as a construction manager for an Oklahoma City home building Company. Here Mike and Colette meet. Then married in 1984 and are the parents of a daughter and son. Mike brings a common sense approach to home building using as his motto: "We build each home as if were going to live in it." He is a member of the Central Oklahoma Home Builders Association and has served on several committees. Mike has also served as: President - Edmond Sportsman's Club President - Oklahoma City Citadel Club Member - National Association of Home Builders Member - Henderson Hills Baptist Church According to Mike; "Home Building is a calling not a job. You have to love it to be good at it. We don't build houses we build homes where people raise families and live life."
